On February 15, on the invitation of the Russian Microfinance Center (RMC) and the National Association of Microfinance Market Participants, MFO “KMF” and Fund “KMF-Demeu” participated in the Expert Round Table “Increasing Financial Literacy of Entrepreneurs. International experience" in Moscow. The event is organized within the framework of the Third International Conference on Financial Literacy and Financial Inclusion “How to increase consumer confidence in the financial market?” Participants of the Expert Round Table discussed the Russian and international experience in increasing financial literacy of entrepreneurs. During the discussion issues of the nationwide programs for increasing financial literacy of entrepreneurs and population in general were touched upon. KMF and KMF-Demeu, having extensive experience in implementation of the programs for increasing financial literacy of entrepreneurs and population shared their experience in Kazakhstan. Rauza Ibragimova was the speaker at the session "Financial Literacy Education: Who should be taught? What should be taught? How to Teach? Why one should be educated?" She talked about the development of the project for improving financial literacy when managing family budget and when managing business. KMF’s experience aroused great interest both among the participants of the conference and speakers of this session. Speakers from Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, as well as RMC staff, gave us warm feedback. Among the participants of this event were representatives of the Bank of Russia, Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, Department of International Financial Relations of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, Citi Fund, representatives of the national financial literacy program (Holland/Portugal), Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and many others.
