The 9th annual Regional Conference "Woman and Business" was held in Almaty in Dostyk Hotel on March 03, 2017. A distinctive feature of this year's Conference is its status - the Republican Conference. This event was organized by MFO “KMF” and Fund “KMF-Demeu”.
The conference was hosted by remarkable and compelling Botagoz Aldongarovа - Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Women's Leadership Fund, editor-in-chief of Retro FM, founder of Kazakhstan Fashion Week.
This time 150 participants from different cities and villages of Kazakhstan came to the conference. The participants were able to meet with interesting speakers who shared their theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the development of their business and its promotion. We were supported by our close partners EBRD and Association of Family Business. Traditionally, the Fair of Goods and Services was organizes at this event. At the fair, KMF clients presented their services and goods, and guests were able to get advice and purchase souvenirs.
Speakers from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) spoke at the event with the program for supporting women in the small and medium-sized business sector, and representative of the Frankfurt School of Business presented “Business Lenses” tool for self-diagnosis of the business. Also, profile experts introduced delegates to franchising as a tool for developing their business and mechanisms of Internet promotion and digital marketing, as integral components of modern business.
Clients enthusiastically expressed the words of gratitude, read poems, and congratulated each other on the upcoming international women's holiday. At the end of the event, the hosts held the prize drawing.
