On March 03, 2017, the IX Republican Conference "Woman and Business" was held with participation of KMF clients from all over the country. And among them is our client from Karaganda - Meruert Argimbayeva. Last year, Meruert Argimbayeva won the contest among the readers of the corporate magazine “Isker” and won a trip to Almaty. On her Facebook page, Meruert Argimbayeva published a review of the conference and shared her impressions:
"On March 03, 2017, I took part in the IX Regional Conference “Woman and Business” on the invitation of KMF. The event was held in Almaty. I am a member of “Joy” group, and we have been credited in MFO “KMF” for less than a year, and that is why we have been very grateful for invitation.
The conference was attended mainly by women who have been in business for many years. I liked the seminar of Andrey Yachshenko from Media Genius. He wrote the following about this experience: "45 minutes about SMM, about promotion in social networks for women entrepreneurs. I tried to tell as simply as possible that social networks are not only abuse, discussion of politicians and negative behavior, but an excellent tool for promoting business". Andrey suggested two sites on which one can independently learn how to promote own business in social networks.
Also the seminar of Beknur Kisikov from KazFranch was very useful. Franchising issues are very urgent for "Joy" group, because we have already received requests from 5 Kazakhstan cities to open a branch under our brand. Unfortunately, franchising is a new and unexplored trend in Kazakhstan. But Beknur promised to help us with registration of the franchise. We were very pleased to talk to the experts from Frankfurt School about the Business Lens - a tool for online business diagnostics. Free, affordable and innovative! Of course, our women are big hard workers.
Also the conference was attended by the owners of small grocery stores, service stations, containers with clothes, flower boutiques, etc. There were many women from villages. Those mothers, grandmothers, wives and sisters who do not often dress up to get recognition of their merits. I admired them and thought how lucky we were that our women are not afraid to open their small business in order to feed their families and realize their ideas!
It was a little sad that Karaganda region was again shot out of the advanced seminars and trainings. Unfortunately, large funds and international companies often do not have interests in Karaganda region. And we have to travel to Almaty and Astana to learn something new and innovative. I managed to talk about this with the speakers and representatives of EBRD, and they agreed with me. "Joy" group made an impression, many people asked what is the "Charity Store"?” Meruert shared her contacts with the participants of the conference and gave a short interview.
